Frequently Asked Questions about Scamper RV Rentals
When can you pick up your Scamper RV Rental?
Default pickup time is 3pm and return is noon. Early pickup is $75/hour and must be approved by location. Late returns are $50/hour after noon. Returns after 5pm are charged a full additional night at full rate.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Scamper RV Rentals requires a minimum of 3 nights to reserve. There is no maximum rental period.
What is the mileage allowance per day?
100 miles per day included. Additional mileage is $0.55/mile. Extra Mileage Package is $35 per 100 miles.
Do your vehicles have a tow hitch?
They do but towing is not allowed during rentals.
Do Scamper Rentals allow pets?
Yes. Dogs 45 lbs and under at no charge. Dogs over 45 lbs require a $50 pet fee.
Do I need a special license to rent an RV?
No special license required. A state-issued driver's license is sufficient. You must be 25 years of age to rent.
Can I take a Scamper Rental to Canada?
Yes to Canada. Mexico is not permitted.
What is the lowest temperature for overnight camping?
At below-freezing temperatures, water tanks must be drained to prevent freezing.
Does Scamper RV offer delivery?
Yes. Scamper RV Rentals offers delivery from the Cumming, GA location (5410 Chattahoochee Ind Park) to your campsite or preferred drop-off point. Contact us at 833-722-6737 to confirm availability and get a quote.
Can you drop off at the airport?
Yes. Atlanta Airport drop-off (McDonough location only) is available so your RV is ready when you land. Contact us for pricing and availability.
Can you stock the RV with groceries before my trip?
Yes. Scamper RV Rentals offers grocery loading by request. Send your list and the kitchen will be stocked before pickup or delivery.
